🇺🇸 MONDAY MATTERS:
Ever wonder what happens to the money raised through LCRP events and activities?

Funds raised help support the work of our local party throughout Llano County, from maintaining our headquarters, printing informational materials, community outreach, voter education, communications, events, to election-related activities.

Our headquarters gives us a place to meet, educate, organize, welcome visitors, and provide information to our community throughout the year.

Whether it comes from a garage sale, an event, a sponsorship, or one of our larger fundraisers, every dollar helps us continue that work.

🇺🇸 Local support. Local involvement. A stronger, more informed community. We thank you for your support! ✨

Donald Trump Warns Christians: Political Disengagement Will Cost You Religious Freedom

Former President Donald Trump has issued a confrontational call to arms for the Christian community, asserting that withdrawal from electoral politics amounts to a surrender of constitutional religious protections. Speaking directly to the relationship between faith and power, Trump contended that Christians who sit out political battles risk watching secular forces systematically dismantle their First Amendment rights and cultural standing. He framed political engagement not as a preference but as a survival mechanism—the only bulwark against what he characterized as progressive efforts to marginalize faith-based institutions and values from public life.

Supporters have seized on Trump's argument as a necessary wake-up call, arguing that Christian political mobilization is essential to defending religious liberty and preventing hostile policies from strangling faith-based organizations and expression in schools, workplaces, and the public square. Opponents, however, push back sharply, contending that binding religious identity to partisan political involvement corrupts faith itself and that religious freedom is actually better protected through institutional church-state separation rather than through bloc voting strategies aligned with any single political movement.

The statement underscores a deepening ideological fault line over whether religious communities must enter the political arena to defend their interests or whether doing so fundamentally compromises their spiritual independence.

Join us Thursday, August 20th at 1:00 PM at LCRP Headquarters for a great afternoon with our special guest, Daniel Greer, CEO of Texas Scorecard.

Daniel has been involved in Texas politics for more than 20 years, and I think we’re going to have a very interesting conversation about what’s happening across our state.

Come enjoy some pie, coffee, good conversation—and bring a friend!

We’ll see you at 805 Bessemer Avenue in Llano. Hope to see you there!
