The Kings Garden

The Kings Garden The Kingsland Garden is a Highland Lakes Master Gardeners project established in 2019. It's a securely fenced 100 X 110 ft. parcel. of produce in 2023.

The King’s Garden is a Highland Lakes Master Gardeners' project that grows fruit and vegetables for the Share the Harvest Food Pantry to support families in the Kingsland, Texas area. It is a community garden sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Kingsland. The Kings Garden was established in 2014 on land donated by a church member. It has its own well for irrigation and 39 four foot beds about

20 feet (+ or -) long. All vegetables and fruit grown by the garden go to the Share the Harvest Food Pantry next door. The pantry is currently serving approx.. 168 families and the Master Gardeners project has produced 6,400 lbs. The main work days for the garden are Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8-10 during the Spring and Summer months, and 9-11 during the fall and winter months.
