Camden Leadership concluded its year with a memorable trip to Cumberland Island National Seashore hosted by the Camden County Sheriff's Office, Camden County GA. The day began with an informative tour led by Sgt. Rob Duckworth, Lt. Doug Wellner, and Deputy Cody Davis, whose knowledge and hospitality provided the cohort with a unique perspective on the island’s history, operations, and natural beauty.

A special thank you Park Ranger Caleb Hayes and to Elaine Bowling, a dedicated Cumberland Island volunteer, who shared fascinating insights into the Carnegie family’s legacy while guiding the cohort through Plum Orchard Mansion. Her passion and knowledge brought the island’s rich history to life and made for an unforgettable experience.

The day concluded with a delicious lunch at Riverwalk Pizzeria, providing the perfect opportunity for fellowship and reflection on a year filled with learning, leadership, and community connections.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this final Leadership Camden experience such a meaningful and memorable conclusion to an incredible year.
