Pawsitive Connections is about animals helping people and people helping animals. Our group strives to make that connection between animals and people.

Our team is dedicated in not only the rescue of animals but to place the animal in a program to help heal someone in need. Healing comes in many forms... It may be in helping an elder sitting in a hospital bed missing their own pet, or a BIG kiss at an adoption event or in the form of a perfect match to a post traumatic stress veteran. Pawsitive Connections was founded in the Spring 2010 and has quickly taken on many new challenges including starting a community center. We need volunteers to help us make that connection!!

Meet Maple, Crumpet & Meringue — three 3½-month-old Poodle/Chihuahua mix sisters who clearly did NOT share the same personality setting. 😂

🍁 **Maple** — sweet, adorable and the one who probably has her life together.

🥐 **Crumpet** — energetic, outgoing and firmly believes every room is her personal social event.

🍥 **Meringue** — outgoing, enthusiastic and completely unburdened by the concept of “calm.” Basically, crazy pants with four legs. 😂

Three sisters. Three personalities. Zero boring days. ❤️🐾

Apparently, puppies are expensive. Who knew? 😂

These little food critics came into the world in our care after their mama arrived pregnant. Now they’re learning the very important skill of **eating everything in sight.**

From pregnant mama needing extra nutrition before giving birth to extra calories while nursing, to these little vacuum cleaners learning to eat on their own… it takes A LOT of good quality food to get a litter from “coming soon” to “ready for adoption.” 🐶🍽️

So when **Walmart Spark Good** gives us a **$1,000 grant from Walmart Neighborhood Market #4174 at 1450 Monterey Rd, San Jose**, this is where it goes.

Into bowls.
Into bellies.
And apparently, onto faces, feet, each other… and pretty much everywhere else. 😂

Thank you, **Walmart Spark Good**, for helping us keep our rescue dogs and puppies well-fed while they wait for their forever homes. ❤️

We provide the care.
Walmart helps provide the groceries.

Meet Nod! 🐾 This 4-month-old cattle dog mix is smart, loyal, and ready to be your personal trainer. 😂

He’s in foster care, where he takes pack walks for MILES every day and gets along great with the other dogs. Apparently, his little legs didn’t get the memo that he’s still a puppy.

Nod is expected to be medium-sized and is looking for an active human who enjoys long walks and a furry shadow who will judge them if they skip leg day. 🐕‍🦺

Coming to PetSmart this Saturday October 3rd from apx 11-5.

HUGE THANK YOU to Jewel City Crossfit for hosting Pawsitive Connections for an adoption event and fundraiser!

Great music, awesome people, happy dogs, and enough snuggles to make everyone forget they came to work out. 😂

One lucky pup found a family, AND the amazing Jewel City CrossFit community raised **$1,000 for our little rescue!** As a small, no-kill nonprofit that relies on donations to save lives, that generosity means EVERYTHING. ❤️

Thank you for opening your doors and hearts to our dogs. We had a blast, the dogs got spoiled, and everyone left feeling the love!

Meet Yeti! 6.7 pounds of Papillon/Chihuahua and approximately 97 pounds of audacity. 😂

Yeti has three goals in life:

🛋️ Occupy your lap. Your lap is her lap. She doesn't make the rules. (Actually, yes. Yes, she does.)

👅 Lick your face. Whether you need a bath or not, she's happy to help. Boundaries are for other people.

🦶 Attack your feet while you walk. Why walk normally when you can play Human Pinball with a furry ankle obstacle?

At about 2 years old, Yeti is dog- and cat-friendly, but let's be honest. YOU are the main attraction. Everyone else is just her coworker.

Looking for a tiny, furry stalker with questionable personal-space policies? Yeti will be Jewel City Crossfit tomorrow September 26th starting at 10 am.

Must provide a lap. Must tolerate excessive kisses. Must watch where you step.

Your face isn't going to lick itself. 🐾👅

🌭🚨 **HOTDOG ALERT** 🚨🌭

The weenies are leaving the house. 😂

These little meat sticks are making their **DEBUT this Saturday at 10 AM Jewel City Crossfit!**

They were born in our care after we pulled their pregnant mama from the shelter. Mama is about 12 lbs, so we're expecting **mostly bite-sized hotdogs.**

**Oscar, however, did not get the memo.** 😂
He is a **CHUNK-A-DUNK** and appears to be preparing for a career as a Costco-sized hotdog. 🌭

Come meet the weenies.
**They’re cute. They’re ridiculous. They’re probably going to eat your snacks.**
