Pawsitive Connections is about animals helping people and people helping animals. Our group strives to make that connection between animals and people.

Our team is dedicated in not only the rescue of animals but to place the animal in a program to help heal someone in need. Healing comes in many forms... It may be in helping an elder sitting in a hospital bed missing their own pet, or a BIG kiss at an adoption event or in the form of a perfect match to a post traumatic stress veteran. Pawsitive Connections was founded in the Spring 2010 and has q

uickly taken on many new challenges including starting a community center. We need volunteers to help us make that connection!!

Meet Jade, with a heart of gold and a gentle soul, she is the perfect companion. Jade can be a little timid and shy at first, but with a little patience and some tasty treats, she'll soon show her true colors. She is food motivated and always eager to please, making her a joy to train. Jade loves toys and will happily entertain herself, but she also adores the company of other dogs. Another dog in the home would be helpful for her but not mandatory. Her gentle and submissive nature makes her the perfect friend for both male and female adult humans. Being on the shy side, young kids might be too much for her. So far she is ignoring the cat in her foster home. Around a year and a half with a playful spirit and loving heart that will bring a youthful energy to your home. Jade is medium size around 50 lbs with the most adorable nub tail. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. Jade is being fostered in Hollister, CA.

Welcome our newest PC rescue pup and soon to be mama.
We love helping get the pregnant dogs out of shelters and into loving foster homes that help get them healthy and prepared for motherhood. We can't do it without support and would like to thank Walmart store # 3023 at 4055 Evergreen Village in San Jose for a huge grant of
$1000 to Purchase Food for our rescue dogs & puppies.
Our pregnant, nursing and weaning pups eat a great deal of canned food and our inventory was getting low. Thank you Walmart for your support!

Meet our resident swamp goblin disguised as a 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix.

She LOVES water. Water bowl? Splash zone. Mud puddle? Spa day. Freshly rinsed kennel? Time to marinate again. She proudly worked very hard to smell like a tiny swamp witch… which makes it extra funny that she acted deeply offended by her actual bath. Apparently cleanliness is where she draws the line.

When she’s not creating mud soup, she’s quietly curled up at your feet, getting along with dogs, cats, and anyone who might accidentally drop snacks. Because yes, she also loves food. Intensely.

Basically she’s equal parts gremlin, cuddle bug, and soggy potato — and we adore her for it. 💕

These two tiny brothers have been having a serious identity crisis. Raised around farm animals and kids, they spent most of puppyhood staring at the white alpaca wondering, “So… when do we get tall?”

Spoiler alert: they stayed snack-sized.

One brother is a smooth coat social butterfly with absolutely zero stranger danger and the energy of a triple espresso. The other is a shy little scruffy guy who prefers to observe the chaos before joining in. Both are sweet, funny little boys with big personalities packed into tiny bodies.

Their mama is a lovely white Maltese mix who clearly passed down the good looks… but thankfully not alpaca-level height expectations.

Orbitti is smoother than sweet tea on a front porch swing. 🤠💦

This handsome 6 month old Australian Shepherd mix is medium energy with a serious talent for relaxing. His hobbies include supervising naps, splashing in the water like a country gentleman, and looking at you with those “well hey darlin’” eyes.

If a southern drawl turned into a puppy, it’d be Orbitti. 🐶

Meet mama Tootsie and her tiny candy assortment 🍬

Tootsie is a sleek little black smooth coat Chihuahua who clearly took “family size bag” very seriously. She arrived with four adorable pups: Tootsie Roll, Tootsie Pop, Fancy Nancy, and Rascally Ralph — each with their own special flavor of chaos.

The photo shoot included actual Tootsie Roll candy, although we can neither confirm nor deny that Rascally Ralph tried to claim it as his inheritance. Fancy Nancy posed like she already has a sponsorship deal, Tootsie Pop worked every angle, and Tootsie Roll mostly just looked suspiciously delicious.

Meanwhile mama Tootsie handled the whole thing like an exhausted single mom at a preschool picture day.

This sweet little variety pack is serving sugar, spice, and tiny Chihuahua energy in fun-sized form. 🍭
