Pawsitive Connections Pawsitive Connections is about animals helping people and people helping animals. Our group strives to make that connection between animals and people.

Our team is dedicated in not only the rescue of animals but to place the animal in a program to help heal someone in need. Healing comes in many forms... It may be in helping an elder sitting in a hospital bed missing their own pet, or a BIG kiss at an adoption event or in the form of a perfect match to a post traumatic stress veteran. If you own a pet you know the cost of caring for a pet long term. Sometimes our PC pups are with us for an extended period. Burpee is one of those pups.

Luckily, PC was selected by WalMart #2486 located at 4080 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose to receive the WalMart Giving Spark grant to provide food for Rescue Dogs.

Pups like Burpee get overlooked sometimes by adopters, but we hope eventually they will find their family. In the meantime we take care of them. PC does not receive any county or state funding, but grants and donations ensure we can provide a safe space for all of our pups, no matter how long they are with us.

So thank you to Walmart #2486 for selecting us to receive this grant for $250.

Burpee will be a year old next month and has been with us since she was a tiny baby.

We are hoping she will land in a home soon!

Have you ever seen a puppy with ears this impressive? Meet Jack!

Jack is approximately 3 months old and has spent his early days in foster care making friends with just about everyone. Dogs? Check. Cats? Check. Little kids? Check. Cows, horses, and farm animals of all shapes and sizes? Also check. At this point, Jack is basically working on becoming an honorary farm animal himself.

This happy-go-lucky boy loves being with people and will happily follow you around to see what you're doing. He has mastered the art of patiently waiting for treats and believes every snack should be shared with him.

With his adorable ears, sweet personality, and easygoing nature, Jack is ready to have his own family, farm optional. He will be happy in any type of housing situation.

We predict Jack will be medium/large when grown. Some breed guesses would be Shepherd, Aussie, Husky.

Jack will be at PetSmart Almaden Expressway in San Jose this Saturday.

Meet Jade, with a heart of gold and a gentle soul, she is the perfect companion. Jade can be a little timid and shy at first, but with a little patience and some tasty treats, she'll soon show her true colors. She is food motivated and always eager to please, making her a joy to train. Jade loves toys and will happily entertain herself, but she also adores the company of other dogs. Another dog in the home would be helpful for her but not mandatory. Her gentle and submissive nature makes her the perfect friend for both male and female adult humans. Being on the shy side, young kids might be too much for her. So far she is ignoring the cat in her foster home. Around a year and a half with a playful spirit and loving heart that will bring a youthful energy to your home. Jade is medium size around 50 lbs with the most adorable nub tail. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. Jade is being fostered in Hollister, CA.

Welcome our newest PC rescue pup and soon to be mama.
We love helping get the pregnant dogs out of shelters and into loving foster homes that help get them healthy and prepared for motherhood. We can't do it without support and would like to thank Walmart store # 3023 at 4055 Evergreen Village in San Jose for a huge grant of
$1000 to Purchase Food for our rescue dogs & puppies.
Our pregnant, nursing and weaning pups eat a great deal of canned food and our inventory was getting low. Thank you Walmart for your support!
