The Midget team of KMO played hard today! They did not come home with the win but are they are coming home with an incredible season behind them! The finished their game today against the Shelby Lions 14-26.

They made HUGE strides this season, and we are so incredibly proud of the whole team! We have watched this organization go through so many changes and have watched so many of these kids grow up with us. We couldn't have done this without these kids, coaches and families and we love every single one of you!

Next year... we are coming back and we are bringing the thunder!

THIS FRIDAY NIGHT....

The KMO Mounties will join the KMHS Mountaineer Varsity Football Team on the field for stretching and running out of the tunnel!

Game begins at 7pm, all players should report no later than 6:10pm! More details will be given later in the week, refer to your GroupMe app!

This is a special treat for our athletes that comes just in time for our 1st Round of Playoffs starting this Saturday! More details on that to come!

CALLING ALL FOOTBALL CLUBS!!!!

Kings Mountain Optimist is looking for a 9U football team who would like to scrimmage our Peewee team this Saturday night!

Unfortunately, our opponents for this game had to forfeit, but we would still like for our boys to have the opportunity to play!

This game is scheduled for Saturday night at 7pm UNDER THE STADIUM LIGHTS! An exciting opportunity for these kids to play like the big kids!

Scrimmage format as follows:
2-10 min quarters
Each team gets 10 offensive plays
No special teams
5th quarter style
Game will take place at Shu Carlton Stadium in Kings Mountain
