FYI…. As of April 1st water rates in the city of Kingman have increased. Please be aware and cautious of your water usage to prevent a large bill.
Effective NOW WATER COST ARE:
Base rate of $23.25, which includes 2,000 gallon of water. Every thousand gallon after costs an additional $5.04.
For example if you used 4,000 gallon water
Base $23.25 PLUS $ 5.04 for each of the additional 2,000gallon. $ 5.04 x2 = 10.08 plus base of $23.25 ( that includes the first 2,000 gallon). For a Total water usage bill of $ 33.33.
SEWER RATES have also increased.
$ 26.25 is the base ( which includes the first 2,0000 gallon) PLUS an additional 6.83 per 1,000 gallon.
For example 4,000 gallon for sewer
$26.25 plus $6.83 x2. For a total of 26.25 + 13.66 =39.91for a total SEWER bill of $39.91.
In this example your water/sewer bill together would be $ 73.24. Based of 4,000 gallon of water used .
Sewer usage is averaged for the months of Dec/Jan/Feb for your usage.
I hope this helps you plan your water usage and keeps you conscious of water waste. Please make sure your toilets are not leaking, faucets aren’t dripping, left running or wasting water…. It will be expensive for you..
New toilet flaps are inexpensive and easy to replace yourself…. Be kind to yourself and stay on top of your water usage.
Thank you.
