Every Friday, Celeste comes to St. Mary’s Food Bank. She cares for her two autistic children, who attend a special school that doesn’t provide meals, so every day she prepares their breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Her weeks are full of challenges — cuts to essential services, navigating complex systems, and making sure her children have everything they need. Even so, she keeps coming, because she knows she can count on the support of the Food Bank and the community behind it.

The small comforts — the air conditioning, a glass of water, the respectful way she is treated — make a difference. They remind her that she is not facing these challenges alone.
