Avian pox is prevalent in Tucson and surrounding areas. This disease's severity is the primary reason I refrain from taking in or assisting wildlife, as protecting the lives of my parrots takes precedence over aiding pigeons or hummingbirds.

Regrettably, I must reiterate that we are unable to accept wild birds. We do have connections for specific species, such as pigeons, ravens, and hawks. The exotic parrots in our care have delicate systems and cannot tolerate the diseases often carried by wild birds. Although I wish we had more resources available for wild injured birds, unfortunately, that is not the case.

My daughter adopted a couple of senior cockatiels. They have arthritis and they are old, but they are so loved and here to just have a nice place to be and she started them a page. if you wanna follow along
