It is with deep sadness that I share some difficult news. I have been informed that Kingman Unit Commander Mr. Robert Sk***ey was involved in a fatal helicopter crash last night while performing his duties with the Department of Public Safety.

We understand this information has been confirmed through communication between his family and unit leadership. Out of respect for the family and the sensitivity of the situation, details remain limited at this time.

Mr. Sk***ey dedicated more than ten and a half years of service to the Young Marines program and was the founder of the Kingman Young Marines. Through his leadership and commitment, he built a program that positively shaped the lives of countless Young Marines and volunteers. His impact extended well beyond the unit, reflecting his deep commitment to serving both youth and the broader community.

He leaves behind a lasting legacy of mentorship, leadership, and service. The Young Marines he guided and the community he supported stand as enduring testimony to his dedication and character.

Please keep Robert’s family, friends, unit members, and colleagues in your thoughts during this difficult time.

The Kingman Marine Corps League has ended another successful Toys for Tots. This year we
registered 504 Families and assisted 8 non-profit organization such as KAP (Kingman Air for Abused People), Angel Manor and Head Start. We had 503 families register for toys in the greater Kingman area. We collected 3480 toys. This does not count toys given to us by the Toys For Tots foundation and toys that we purchased.
A program such as this does not operate without volunteers and supporters. We wish to thank the Kingman basketball team for helping with the toys distribution and a TFT Basketball Toy Drive, as well as the Kingman Young Marines who assisted in giving out the toys. As always, the Kingman Golden Valley Realtors breakfast fundraiser was at the top of our list.
We had ninety-three toy boxes placed throughout the community and several of them in business along the 1-40 corridor between Kingman and Yucca as well as the Kingman Airport.
We can’t honor all our local business, but we did select some of the entities that have been
above and beyond for the last several years: Nucor Steel, Geo Group, West Lake Pipe. We
would also like to give a special thanks to Little Debbies for the snacks.
For 2026, we will be forming a partnership with the Kingman Salvation Army in order to expand
the services for both organization in the greater Kingman area.
The Marines of the Dean W. Reiter Detachment, Marine Corps League wish all a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Good morning Toys for Tots families. We have been getting an abundance of messages and phone calls about missed pick up times and misinformation. The times and dates, as well as our Coordinator's direct phone number, were clearly listed many times on the website, page, and emails. We are closed and packed up for the 2025 season.
We are diverting all families to the Salvation Army.
Have a wonderful holiday season.

1 hour to go. We still have approximately 100 families that have not picked up. We are leaving at 2pm today, so make sure you pick up! Check with your friends and families and make sure they picked up as well! We don't want you to miss you!

Today is the final day of pick up. We still have approximately 150 families that have not picked up. We are here from 9am to 2pm today. Please make sure you have your control number and required documentation before arriving to pick up. Not having the proper documentation will delay pick up for you and others.

Day 2 of toy distribution! Pick up times are 9am-5pm. Please make sure you have your control number and required information before arrival.
Yesterday, we served 209 families. We have approximately 280 families to go.
Please keep in mind we are volunteers and foul language or obscene gestures will not be tolerated.
Our coordinator will be on site at all times if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

The weekend is here!

Distribution dates and times are as follows:
Friday 12/12: 9am-5pm
Saturday 12/13: 9am-5pm
Sunday 12/14: 9am-2pm

Make sure you have your control number and the proper documentation prior to arrival. If you do not pick up on time, your application order will not be filled.

Pick up location is same as last year at: 2475 E. Beverly.

Remember, all of our elves are volunteers and no profanity or obscene gestures will be tolerated. If you violate, you will be put on the "naughty list" and will not be permitted to apply in future years.

If you have any questions, comment on here, message, or contact our coordinator, Paul Bunn, at 928-201-9329. He will also be on-site at all times during all 3 days.

If you are going through rough times and/or just need someone to talk to or sit with you, ask for the elf on Saturday or Mrs. Claus on Sunday. She will be more than happy to help.
