The Kingfisher County OSU Extension is helping fill the gap this summer by providing no-cost meal boxes for kids ages 1–18 (still enrolled in high school) throughout Kingfisher County.

🍎 Nutritious, kid-friendly meals while supplies last!

✅ First come, first serve
✅ Parent/guardian only needs to provide:
• Parent name
• Children’s names

We are still seeking hole sponsors and teams for play in our 19th annual Santa’s Toyland tournament!!

It’s that time of year again to dust off those golf clubs for Santa’s Toyland Golf Tournament! It’s the 19th annual event benefiting local children who may not get to have a special Christmas present from Santa!! 🎅🏻

When: Saturday, July 11th, 2026
Where: Kingfisher Golf Course
Time: 8am shotgun start

⛳️$300/team- includes green fee, golf cart, mulligans & a meal

⛳️$100 hole sponsorships are available, if you aren’t much of a golfer but want to support local children!!

The Oklahoma Rural Health Transformation Program has released a public grant application through a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Chronic Disease Management Program.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. CT on June 8, 2026.

The Chronic Disease Management Program is intended to fund providers, community-based organizations, and other organizations to implement and/or expand proven models for chronic disease management across rural regions of Oklahoma.

Don’t miss the chance to sign up your student for the Kingfisher County Babysitting Workshop!

Youth ages 11 and up are invited to join a fun, hands-on training day designed to build confidence and teach the skills needed to become a responsible babysitter that families will want to hire.

The Kingfisher County OSU Extension Office will host this annual workshop:

📅 When: Wednesday, May 27th
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Where: Kingfisher County Fairgrounds – Exhibit Building
💲 Cost: $5 (includes CPR certification)

Participants will learn babysitting basics, safety skills, and practical, real-world tips for caring for children.

SUMMER RISING STARS 🌟
Families are invited to enroll their current Kindergarten–3rd Grade students in the Summer Rising STARS program, a fun and engaging summer experience designed to keep kids learning, active, and connected.

The program runs May 27 – June 18, Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

Each day includes hands-on learning, creative activities, and enriching experiences that help students stay engaged over the summer. Students will also enjoy exciting local field trips, including a visit to the Hennessey Pool 🏊‍♂️

🍎 Free breakfast and lunch are provided daily.
🗓️ Schedule: Monday–Thursday (no Fridays)
💲 Cost: FREE

The goal is to create a fun, meaningful, and memorable summer for every student who attends.
