Each bench will feature a dedication stone, similar to those in Newfield Park. Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the Visitor Center located at 110 East Broadway, Kingfisher, OK. Raising the flag pole-Group effort!! Raising the flag ceremony Monday @11:00 Kingfisher American Legion **FYI: Revised-there will be ceremony on Monday but we will not raise the flag. We are waiting on the plaque to do so. We will keep you posted.

The American Legion in Kingfisher is collaborating with Kingfisher Trails to create a Flag Plaza near the Bandshell in Newfield Community Park. We are seeking patriotic citizens to help fund this project. The American Legion is providing the pole, flag, and rope. We need an additional $4,000 for the concrete base, masonry, light, and dedication plaque. This will be a first-class installation, using brick and stone from previous park projects. If you are interested, you can donate via PayPal at [email protected] or send a check to Kingfisher Trails at 110 E. Broadway in Kingfisher.
