King Rotary was pleased to welcome back Tiffany Bramblett, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner with her business As Intended Wellness as our guest speaker this morning for an engaging presentation on holistic health and wellness.

Tiffany shared her personal journey of overcoming significant health challenges and discussed the importance of addressing root causes rather than simply treating symptoms. Drawing from years of research and experience, she highlighted the connections between brain health, autoimmune conditions, nutrition, and overall well-being.

Tiffany is also the author of Unbreaking the Brain: The Natural Reversal of Autism, Alzheimer's, and Autoimmune Disease, a recently published book that explores her family's experiences and the holistic approaches she has developed through her work and research.

Thank you, Tiffany, for sharing your story, your passion, and your insights with our club. We appreciate your willingness to educate and inspire others on our own health journeys!

This morning, the Rotary Club of King was inspired by a special program highlighting the impact of Rotary’s investment in youth and community leadership. We were honored to hear from recent Stokes Early College High School graduates Danielle Delk and Lucas McKinney, along with West Stokes School Counselor Michelle Ring.

Danielle shared how the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA 7690) program helped shape her leadership journey, as well as her experiences serving as President of the Stokes Early College Interact Club. Lucas spoke about the Interact Club’s Peace Pole Project at Fowler Park in Walnut Cove and the importance of promoting peace, service, and understanding within our communities. Lucas currently serves as Vice President of the Interact Club.

Ms. Ring also offered a meaningful perspective as both an educator and the proud parent of a past Linda Kimbro Lane Scholarship recipient — a powerful reminder to us that Rotary’s support of students and young leaders creates lasting impacts far beyond the classroom. Ms. Ring expressed her appreciation for Rotary's emphasis on students' character in our scholarship selection.

Rotary is not only serving our community today, but also helping develop the next generation of leaders who will shape tomorrow. Thank you to Danielle, Lucas, and Ms. Ring for sharing your stories and for reminding us all why Rotary truly matters!

This morning, members of the Rotary Club of King gathered for fellowship and one final micro-project of the Rotary year.

Rotarians spent the morning preparing books and bookmarks for 1st grade students at Poplar Springs Elementary School — a small project with the potential to make a big impact by encouraging reading and learning among young students in our community. Rotarians wrote an affirming word or phrase on each bookmark, in hopes that message resonates with each student. Sometimes, the simplest acts of kindness and investment in children can leave the greatest lasting impression.

Thank you to everyone who came out early this morning to help us continue "doing good stuff" in our community and living out Rotary’s spirit of “Service Above Self”.
