Cub Scout Pardners, were lookin' forward to seeing you from 8am to 5pm at the American Legion in King for this year's Wild West Day Camp on August 3-5! Cubs will work toward advancement loops and Nova requirements via fun games and activities like horseshoes, shootin' range, gem mining, and so much more!

The cost of this event $50 and it is open to registered cubs ages 5-11. If you're not registered but would like to be, let me know!

Volunteers welcome! You can lead a station, be a 'den walker', help with check in, role play as part of the scenery, and so much more. PM for opportunities! :)

To prove it works (and fast!l

2L bottles with 3 big popsicle stick legs
1 cork that fits tightly
2 cups vinegar
1 cup water
2 tbsp baking soda, wrapped in ONE layer of napkin (tape lightly on side and bottom) [this is the 'fuse']

Put the water and vinegar in the bottle. Go the launch site. Drop in the fuse. Cork it, one shake, set it on its legs and step back a good 20 feet!
