I am getting closer to finishing my book eternal gratitude beyond survivors guilt a personal Vietnam war story. I have put lots aside to by Monday finish two chapters killed in action 50 people from my company in the first year never came home alive. I am telling their stories. The other chapter is operation silver city where I came as close to being killed as one can and surviving. The two me in front of me Zoints and Beauchamp were killed on our clearing patrol the bullets that killed them launched an attack on our battalion by a regiment of North Vietnamese regulars. We lost 7 men killed and I do not know how many were wounded. It was a day that has helped shape who I am. No matter what it takes I am going to complete and get it published. The first person in our company was killed and 61 years later he is still missing in action. Soon I will start sharing the competed chapters.
