S.N.A.P. Exercise Buddies runs each Saturday from September 7 to October 4, 2024, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

S.N.A.P. Soccer Buddies runs each Saturday from October 19 to November 16, 2024, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

Buddies are partnered with a participant, help set-up, break-down and store equipment. No experience is needed, just a willingness to work and have fun with children with intellectual and/or physical disabilities on basic skills in a fun format. We accept buddies ages 12 and up! Buddies will be provided with certificates to show service hours. Questions can be emailed to Linda Moser at [email protected].

You must sign up for each program using Upper Merion Park and Rec's Community Pass. There is no charge to create a Community Pass account. Use the link below and search SNAP on Community Pass to find our program sessions.

From November 30th - December 2nd, Variety will transform its 77-acre campus into an interactive, family-friendly, winter wonderland.

🚗 : Thursday, November 30th will be DRIVING ONLY and is a great opportunity to experience Holiday Lane for those that are not as mobile as well as those in senior living communities and group homes.

🚶‍♀️: Both Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd will be WALKING ONLY. Admission includes walking the lane of decorated cabins, a complimentary cup of hot chocolate, live entertainment, and a visit with Santa. Additional activities include hot food, cider, kids’ games, s’mores, amazing raffle baskets, and a holiday bazaar of handmade items by Variety kids. Elmwood Park Zoo will offer their Zoo on Wheels, there will be a visit by the Phillie Phanatic, SWOOP, and other special guests throughout the event!

On Saturday, December 2nd, there will be special children’s activities (FREE with admission) from 3pm - 5pm including a carol sing along, holiday dance party, story time stations, letters to Santa, a scavenger hunt/ hayride, and more!
