Today is a bit of a bittersweet day at the Chamber.

As many know, I work every day inside the historic King of Prussia Inn, the very place tied to how King of Prussia got its name and so much of our region’s early story.

Today marks the final day our aging replica of the original Inn sign will remain on the building in its current form. It’s weathered, worn, and has served its time well. While it will be carefully preserved inside the building moving forward, it is officially being retired from the exterior.

It’s hard not to feel the weight of that moment.
But this is not about losing history, it’s about maintaining it.

As we prepare for our America 250 celebration on August 20th, the building is also receiving a meaningful refresh. A new replica sign, honoring the original design—will be unveiled as part of that celebration, ensuring the story of this landmark continues to be told for generations to come.

So yes… bittersweet.

We say goodbye to one chapter of the sign’s life, but we also step into a renewed commitment to preservation, pride, and history that lives on.

We’re not erasing the past—we’re caring for it.

And I hope you’ll join us on August 20th as we celebrate what’s next for this incredible piece of Montgomery County history.

The 22nd Annual Swing Into Summer Golf Outing was everything we hoped it would be and more!

It was a day filled with new connections, familiar faces, laughter, incredible sponsors, great conversations, and memories that will last long after the final putt. This is exactly what the Montgomery County Chamber is all about, bringing people together so businesses and our community can Thrive.
