Hello KYB Parents!πŸ•
It’s time once again for our annual pizza fundraiser! As many of you know, this is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we rely on your participation to make it a success. Thank you in advance for your commitment to selling this year - we truly appreciate it!

We have an exciting change for 2026: we’re partnering with Icewind Pizzas for our fundraiser and we will be selling them in our concession stands! This new partnership is meaningful for both organizations, as supporting and strengthening our local communities is a priority on both sides. Icewind Pizzas operates under the parent company of Icewind Brewing and the idea of creating their own pizzas has been a dream from the beginning. They developed their flavors in-house and now partner with one of the area’s premier pizza manufacturers, keeping the process entirely local.

Additionally Icewind has partnered with Viking Village (another local nonprofit benefiting Kindred students) as one of their charitable donation groups for the past two years and will continue that partnership this year. We’re proud to work with a business that actively supports our community - let’s support them as they support us!

Please review the following important details before beginning your sales, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Key Information:
In comments is the order form that you will use to track your sales. This can also be found on our website. Please print this form and start selling today! You can print as many forms as needed. If each family sells even 10 pizzas we will receive enough free pizzas to get us through a good chunk of our concession season!
Pricing for pizzas will be $11, with the exception of the gluten free pepperoni at $13.
All order forms and money are due MONDAY, March 30th.
Pizza pickup is Sunday , May 3rd, at 6:00pm at the Kindred Elementary School parking lot.
Please make sure if you cannot pick up your pizzas at that time that you have a plan in place for someone else to get them for you - we CANNOT store pizzas!
Orders will once again be submitted ONLINE (only KYB families should submit orders or payments). You can follow this link https://forms.gle/oCHxDCZhA4M2uZMx5 or go to kindredyouthbaseball.org and click on the pizza sales icon. At the top you will see Fundraising (click), scroll down to Pizza Fundraiser and under β€œStep Two” click the online form. Complete the required information and enter in the total number of each kind of pizza sold. Make sure the amount you entered matches the total pizza sales money collected and choose your preferred payment method.
Please collect all funds from individuals payable to yourself and submit ONE payment via Square or check payable to KYB (do not submit cash). Because of the amount of families involved and the volume of pizzas we sell this helps to alleviate issues with orders. KYB offers two ways to submit payment for your pizzas:
Square (preferred method) - the link for this is found under β€œStep Three” of the pizza fundraising tab on our website.
Drop off check to Jackie Johnson at Kindred City Hall or put in the City Hall β€œAfter Hours Drop Box - please use a clearly labeled envelope.

⚾️Dear KYB Families & Supporters,
Before we gather tonight for our Field of Dreams Kickoff Event, we have some incredibly exciting news to share!

The first major news is we are thrilled to announce that SCHEELS and five Kindred-area families who work there have made a $312,500 commitment to the KYB Field of Dreams project!

Because of the SCHEELS transformational gift:
β€’ The first diamond built this summer will be named SCHEELS Field.
β€’ SCHEELS will also be sponsoring the scoreboards and foul poles on two of the three fields once Phase 2 is completed.
β€’ We now sit just $700k from our fundraising goal to complete the $2.2M Phase 1 project!

This is more than a corporate donation. It is a powerful statement of belief in our kids, our program, and our growing communities.

We also want to recognize the local families who work at SCHEELS and championed this project internally. Their advocacy and direct personal contributions helped make this milestone gift possible, and for that we are eternally grateful.

SCHEELS just raised the bar. Now we have an opportunity as a community to respond.

Imagine what would happen if other organizations, local businesses, and families came together in collective giving to match this impact. One gift can spark momentum. Many gifts together can finish the mission!

The second big announcement is that as of later this afternoon, KYB officially owns the 9-acre site where these diamonds will be built!

Tonight, we officially launch the phase 1 kickoff for the KYB Field of Dreams Complex. We invite you to join us and celebrate these significant milestones and learn how we are building something that will serve our youth for generations.

Event Details
When: TONIGHT from 5:00 – 8:30 PM
Where: Bice Cave (behind the Knickerbocker), Hickson

The momentum is real. The vision is clear. The opportunity is there. Let’s build this together.

We hope to see you tonight!

Gratefully,
The Kindred Youth Baseball Board
