Kinder Pancake Breakfast, support our veterans

Today the Kinder Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast board had a meeting and we elected our newest board member, welcome to the board Mrs Katherine Adair. She was also elected as the board treasurer today.

We also voted on the logo for this years pancake breakfast, congratulations to Marcus Norris on winning this years design. You design will be used on our marketing, posters, banners and the shirt. Congratulations.

We also approved a new contest for this years breakfast, school class/club banner contest. Rules will be coming out soon but you can win your school class or club a donut party by submitting a 4’x4’ or smaller banner to help decorate this years pancake breakfast. Voting will be done at the breakfast by anyone who attends.

Thanks to Hometown Cafe for hosting our meeting and breakfast today. Breakfast was great. Come by Nov 7th and we will return the favor with a great breakfast to you :)

Official announcement

This years Kinder Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast will have something extra afterwards.

A free to the public concert.

We want to welcome Victory Belles to Kinder for a special free concert at The Grand Church on Nov 7th from 10:15-11am

This would not be possible without our awesome sponsors Ramsey Vincent State Farm, Allen Parish Community Healthcare, and VFW, Fournet Manuel Post 12203, Kinder Louisiana.

Thank you to the Kinder Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast board for working on this project for over a year now to make it happen.

The Victory Belles are a “USO Tour” style singing group that is based out of the World War 2 museum in New Orleans but performs all over the world.

Well the Pancake Breakfast board met for the first time after last months 11th Annual Veterans Day Community Pancake Breakfast to discuss the event and plan for next years 2026 12th Annual Veterans Day Community Pancake Breakfast.

We voted and the theme will be “Popeye the Sailor Man” to show our support for the Navy.

Jan 1-31 we will be accepting entries to our logo contest that will be voted on Feb 1-14th.

Winning logo will receive $100.

All entries will include the Popeye theme, pancake breakfast ideals, 12th annual and/or 2026.

We want to thank Stines for all the years of support for the Kinder Veteran’s Day pancake breakfast. Going into our 12th year this year we discussed getting new flat top grills for cooking the meats as the older grills are well aged now.

Stines donated a band new Blackstone 36” to help us get ready for Nov 7th this years biggest pancake breakfast yet.

We look forward to the 12th Annual Kinder Veterans Day Community Pancake Breakfast this year Nov 7th at The Grand Church.

There are some huge announcements coming up soon with something new to the breakfast that we have never done before to help celebrate the 250th birthday of America.
