🎃🍰 CALLING ALL BAKERS! WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🍰🎃

The Kinard Halloween Carnival is right around the corner, and we’re calling on all of our wonderful bakers to help keep one of our sweetest traditions alive!

Every year, it takes a tremendous number of homemade cakes and sweet treats to make our Cake Auction and Cake Walk a success! These are two of the most loved traditions of the carnival, and we simply couldn't do it without the generosity of our community!

Whether you're known for your famous pound cake, a delicious layer cake, or just love to bake, we would LOVE to have your help! ❤️

Every cake donated helps support the Kinard Volunteer Fire Department, and every single donation makes a difference!

📞 Interested in donating? Please contact Charlotte at 850-718-5091.

We are so thankful for the bakers who show up for us year after year, and we would love to see some new faces join in this year!

🎂 Let's make this year's Cake Auction and Cake Walk the sweetest ones yet!

❤️🚒 Thank you for helping keep this special Kinard tradition going strong! PLEASE SHARE!

🎃🍂 IT'S ALMOST CARNIVAL TIME, CALCO! 🎡🚒

There's just something special about small-town traditions, and the Annual Kinard Halloween Carnival is one that has brought families together for more than 50 years! ❤️

Join us for an evening of good, old-fashioned family fun while supporting the Kinard Volunteer Fire Department!

🎃 Saturday, October 31st
📍 Kinard Community Center
🕔 Gates Open: 5:00 PM CST
👻 Kids Costume Contest: 6:00 PM CST

🎂 THE FAMOUS CAKE AUCTION!
One of the most anticipated traditions of the evening! Come bid on delicious homemade cakes and desserts donated by some of the best bakers around. If you've ever been to the Kinard Carnival, you know this is something you don't want to miss!

🎯 OLD-FASHIONED CARNIVAL GAMES — JUST 25¢!
That's right! The same beloved games that parents and grandparents grew up playing are still just a quarter each! Some traditions are simply too good to change!

❤️ MORE THAN JUST A CARNIVAL...

For generations, families from all across the Florida Panhandle have made their way to Kinard on Halloween night. It's a time to see familiar faces, make new memories, and enjoy the kind of simple, small-town fun that's getting harder and harder to find.

What makes this event even more special is that it's the Kinard Volunteer Fire Department's ONE AND ONLY fundraiser of the year. Every bit of community support helps our volunteers continue serving and protecting the place we call home.

So bring your kids, your neighbors, your friends, and maybe even a little extra cash for that cake you've got your eye on! 😉

Over 50 years of memories. Generations of tradition. One community coming together. ❤️

We can't wait to see you on October 31st! PLEASE SHARE! 🎃🚒

(Please watch for our Volunteer Call post.... we can't do it without our volunteers!)

⚠️ TROPICAL WEATHER PREPAREDNESS🌀

As we keep a close eye on the potential for tropical weather to impact our area toward the end of the week, now is the time to prepare — not panic.

Those of us who lived through Hurricane Michael know just how quickly conditions and forecasts can change. Take advantage of the time we have now to get your home and family ready.

Secure loose outdoor items, stock up on water and non-perishable food, check flashlights and batteries, fuel your vehicles, charge power banks, refill necessary medications, and make a plan for your pets. Most importantly, stay weather-aware and rely on trusted sources for updates.

Please also take a moment to check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone who may need a little extra help preparing. ❤️

Kinard Volunteer Fire Department will continue to monitor conditions and share important information as it becomes available.

🌀 Prepare today for a safer tomorrow.
