We’re so proud of our Executive Director, Chenele Dixon!

Chenele has always been passionate about serving Idaho and making our communities stronger. Her love for the arts and her belief in the way they bring people together is just one of the many things that makes her such a great leader.

We’re excited to see her take on this new role as a Commissioner and continue putting her passion for Idaho to work.

Chenele brings a broad background in public service, nonprofit leadership, education, and community engagement. She currently serves as Executive Director of Idaho Solutions and as a campaign consultant, and previously represented District 24 in the Idaho House of Representatives.

Her commitment to strengthening Idaho communities is reflected in her extensive volunteer leadership. She has served with the Kimberly School Foundation, the College of Southern Idaho Music Fest, the Magic Valley Youth Orchestra, Kiwanis and the Unity Alliance of Southern Idaho. During her legislative service, she was appointed to the Idaho Behavioral Health Council and continues to serve on its working groups.

Chenele believes the arts enrich our communities, strengthen our economy, preserve our history and create opportunities for people of all ages to connect across different backgrounds and perspectives. She is passionate about ensuring that artists, arts organizations and communities throughout Idaho have the support and resources they need for creativity and culture to flourish.

We are thankful for everything Chenele does for the arts in Idaho and are so excited to have her on our team!

September 11, 2001 is a defining moment in our nation’s history, and remembering it is part of our responsibility as citizens.

We honor the lives lost, the first responders, the families forever changed, and the countless Americans who responded with courage and compassion. We also remember the sense of shared purpose that brought communities together in the days that followed.

May we continue to learn from that day, teach the next generation, and never take our rights, responsibilities, or one another for granted.
