OPEN (DRY): The downed trees have been removed with the exception of one large oak on the short cut return to the trail head. The long route is clear and most of the heavier growth has been w**d whacked and trimmed back. The trail has dried out nicely and should ride well.

🚧 Ryan Park Trail Update 🚧

Following the recent storms, Ryan Park sustained significant damage. Numerous large trees are down throughout the trail system, making conditions unsafe for riding at this time. Please avoid using the trails until cleanup efforts can begin and the trail is reopened.

At Northeast Wisconsin Trails (NEWT), we're already working with Kewaunee County and other partners to determine the best path forward. Once a restoration plan is in place and we receive the necessary approval, we'll need volunteers to help get Ryan Park back on its feet.

If you're interested in volunteering, please send us an email or leave a comment below. We'll keep your contact information and reach out as soon as volunteer opportunities become available.

Many of our volunteers are based in the Fox Valley, so we're especially encouraging riders from the Green Bay and Kewaunee areas to get involved as well. Every helping hand will make a difference.

Thank you for your patience and for supporting our trail community. We'll continue to share updates as we work with Kewaunee County to safely reopen Ryan Park.

Ryan Park - Kewaunee - OPEN: OPEN! Thank you for your patience while we were repairing the damage from the flooding earlier this spring. Please use caution on your first lap as we made some minor alterations in a few places, and the erosion rearranged some earth. We repaired the most severe washouts, but watch for other less affected areas.

🚨 NEWT x Mountain Lab Gear Partnership 🚨
Excited to share that NorthEast Wisconsin Trails (NEWT) is teaming up with Mountain Lab Gear to help make our night riding safer, brighter, and a lot more fun.

We’re excited to feature the W2000 Light as part of this partnership and share it with our community as a recommended option for riders looking to improve their night riding setup.

In the meantime, Mountain Lab Gear has also set up a 40% discount code for our community:

💡 COUPON CODE: NEWT40
(valid on all flashlight kits — feel free to share with your riding crew)

If you’re part of the NEWT community, this is a great opportunity to gear up for fall rides, night laps, and early morning adventures.

Huge thanks to Mountain Lab Gear for supporting our riders and helping keep the trails rolling after dark.

If anyone ends up using the lights, we’d love to see photos from the trail to share with the community.
