🩵 It's Spina Bifida Awareness Month.
Our daughter Kathryn was born with Spina Bifida. She's the reason Mobility Action Rentals exists — because an everyday wheelchair couldn't handle sand, gravel, or a campsite, and we couldn't find anywhere to rent one that could.

Proud moment: our son Gabe put on P.A.L.S. (Premier Adaptive Livestock Show) at the Twin Falls County Fair this year — an inclusive pig show. Gabe is a Kimberly High School senior this year. He wanted his project to be giving people with disabilities the chance to show livestock in the ring. 🐷

This year, our equipment helped kids get to summer camp, a Girl Scout trip to McCall, a school field trip to Craters of the Moon, fishing from the banks of the lake not just the dock, and weekends at the county fair. 🎡
7 families served. 25 rental days. And we're just getting started.

Founder Story:

Our daughter Kathryn was born with Spina Bifida. Her everyday wheelchair is great at the store — but it sinks in sand, gets stuck on gravel, and can't handle a campsite.
We looked for somewhere to rent an off-road chair for the handful of times a year she'd need one. There wasn't one. So we built it ourselves.

Mobility matters — and we’re ready to make a bigger impact than ever in 2026.

After a brief winter pause, Mobility Action Rentals is gearing up for a strong year of service. We’re raising funds to repair equipment, expand our inventory, and ensure no one in our community goes without the mobility tools they need.

Every off-road wheelchair and device provide changes someone’s daily life.
