What can rehabilitating beavers teach us about beaver behavior, communication, and social life?

Join Beaver Institute on Thursday, September 10 at 2:00 PM ET for our next Science Speaker Series webinar featuring Dr. Holley Muraco, founder of Something Wild, a Coastal Mississippi nonprofit permitted for wildlife rehabilitation and beaver research.

Dr. Muraco will share how Something Wild is working with beavers undergoing rehabilitation to study important aspects of their behavior, including division of labor, social bonds, vocalizations, gender roles, and sexual maturation.

By better understanding how beavers interact, communicate, and develop, we can deepen our knowledge of this remarkable keystone species—and the animals whose engineering helps shape wetlands, waterways, and habitat for other wildlife.
