What's going on this week? Our upcoming Hancock County 4-H Cloverbud Meeting on September 2nd. We will dive into a sweet and hands-on lesson all about WATERMELONS! 🍉

🎯 Want to make a difference through 4-H Shooting Sports?

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to become Mississippi 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors! 🌟

Join us for Level I Instructor Certification on September 26, 2026, at the MS Law Enforcement Training Officers Academy in Pearl, MS.

🏹 Disciplines offered:
• Archery
• Pistol
• Rifle
• Shotgun
• Muzzleloading
• Slingshot
• Hunting & Outdoor Skills
• Western Heritage

📅 Registration Deadline: September 18, 2026
💲 Workshop Fee: $60
💻 Online National Shooting Sports Training: $20 (required before the workshop)

Volunteers must be 21+ to serve as instructors. Youth ages 14–20 (4-H age) may attend as Assistant Instructors with the required nomination process.

Interested in becoming a certified 4-H Shooting Sports volunteer? Contact your local Extension Office for more information and to get started!
