While Parmelee Farm looks more like this, we are beginning the planning for Shared Harvest Garden 2026. We will be doing some building and replacing of raised beds and trellises this season with grant monies from CFMC. We hope to continue with the generous support of Shoreline Gardens, Halfinger Farm, and the Killingworth Lions. Eden Brothers Seeds just donated a generous gift certificate that we’re looking forward to spending as well. The seed catalogs have arrived , the weather is cold out there so ket the planning commence!!

Anyone interested in volunteering to join us please contact Mary at [email protected]

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Compassion Counts has been postponed!

In a twist worthy of our event title, we’ve run into an unexpected source of stress & anxiety of our own—the location of tonight’s program, St. Francis parish hall, has a broken furnace. Parts have been ordered but they will not arrive in time for this evening’s event.

We all know we can’t avoid stress and anxiety entirely, but sometimes we can make decisions to prevent adding any unnecessary extra—and asking you to sit through the event in a freezing room felt like exactly that. So, we’re postponing the event to a new date (to be announced soon).

Thank you for your understanding—and for rolling with the irony right alongside us.
