Happy national trails day. Hope everyone got to get out there and enjoy all the amazing trails out there. Also seemed like a good day to flag out some new trail/reroutes. Also to announce our next three TRAIL WORK NIGHTS starting this Monday June 8th. Join us from 5-7 to help make our network even better. 2026 racing season is almost upon us. Join us starting Wednesday July 1st for 8 weeks fun recreational racing. All proceeds go directly to our trail network for maintenance and repair as well as new projects. Have fun, race your friends, and help out your local trail system, it’s a win, win, win🏁🏁🏁. Thanks to all who have come these past Monday nights to help get the network in great shape. Last evening we finished up our scheduled spring clean ups on Archie Baker. In addition to reshaping berms, stacking landings we added a new bit of rock slab to add to the multiple rock features in the trail. Enjoy the work and look forward to more trail nights coming soon.

KMBC’s Green Up Day 🌱

📅 Saturday, May 2, 2026
🕘 9–11 AM

Help the bike club clean up Vermont roadsides around our trail systems!

We’ll be tackling:
• Route 100 by Kent Pond and the pull-off
• Sherburne Trails parking area
• Thundering Brook Road between the two trail systems
•TBR entrance at route 4 and Base Camp parking

📍 Meet at Base Camp at 9 AM — trash bags provided!

All volunteers will be entered into a raffle for:
• KMBC Hydro Flask
• KMBC t-shirt
• Basic Bike Tune (donated by Base Camp)

Let’s kick off bike season by giving back to the places we ride. We hope to see you there!

It’s that time of year riders. Mother Nature has spoken and said put your bikes away and break out the skis and snowboards. All KMBC trails are closed for the year. Thank you to everyone who got out and enjoyed our trails this past year. Look forward to more and better tails for 2026.
