As I woke up this morning, I couldn’t help but think about how many people you have helped and served with food, fuel, and gifts—whether toys or clothing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without businesses like yours in Killington, and without the support of my friends and family, none of this would be possible.

I ask you to close your eyes for a moment and picture a little child waking up on Christmas morning… only to find nothing under the tree. The child turns to his mother, who has a tear in her eye, and asks, “Why didn’t Santa come? I’ve been a good boy.”
You might think this can’t happen—
but it does. Every year.

And this is where Ted Arbo and his annual Holiday Toy Party step in. At this event, generous individuals bring gifts and take part in raffles and auctions, raising funds for a wonderful night of giving—all in the spirit of making the holidays brighter for children in need.

Now, picture that same child and his mother on Christmas morning—but this time, there are presents under the tree. The mother, who works tirelessly all week just to feed her family, now has a smile on her face. Ted and his holiday party have helped make Christmas happen for countless families who otherwise wouldn’t have had one.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the past, and to all who will join us going forward. You are the elves… and Ted is the star at the top of every one of those Christmas trees.
Because of you, children’s dreams come true.
