Looks like the project is closed and the lake is safe. This is a huge victory to all of us who have fought in different ways to stop this project.

Air Products (NYSE:APD) today announced it will not proceed with the Louisiana Clean Energy Complex (LCEC) project. The LCEC project exit and other portfolio actions will result in a pre-tax charge in Air Products’ fiscal third quarter.

Air Products also announced it is finalizing a marketing and distribution agreement with Yara International ASA (OSE:YAR) for renewable ammonia from the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in Saudi Arabia. https://brnw.ch/21x3LeQ

Voters have approved a sales tax measure for our town. This has been a long time coming and I’m glad to see forward progress. Just like last year’s election for a new council, this should also send a message that the residents of this town want forward progress and a functional town government.

After years of consistent issues, Killian's water system has been working "great" since a new filter was installed last month, the town's mayor told WBRZ's Sarah Gray Barr.
