Today marks the start of Twilight Camp for the Westmoreland District, Greater Alabama Council, BSA, BSA Cub Scouts!

Throughout the week, Cub Scouts from across the district will come together each afternoon to enjoy outdoor adventures, crafts, range and target activities, games, and much more.

Have a child who might be interested in Cub Scouts or curious about what summer camp is like? Join us for Friends & Family Night this Friday! It's a great opportunity to see the fun, learn about the Cub Scout program, and experience camp firsthand.

Congratulations to River Miles of Troop 285, for completing his board of review and earning the rank of Eagle Scout!!

A Scout is Reverent…

Saturday was a special day for Camp Westmoreland.
Scouters, volunteers, and family members gathered to honor our longtime friend and caretaker, by naming and dedicating the Pastor Oscar Roach Chapel.

This Sunday morning our campers held Scouts Own Service under the beautiful sky, and we have no doubts that our friend Oscar was there with us smiling in spirit.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make Camp Westmoreland the great camp it is, and for passing down the willingness to serve through all generations of Scouting.
