September is National Recovery Month 💜
At Hills Recovery Center, we want to raise awareness in our communities about mental health, substance use and opioid use conditions.
We want to help break the stigma by helping people see addiction as a treatable condition rather than a personal failure.
We want to share support by encouraging individuals and families to speak openly and seek professional help.
We want to help by building a recovery-ready community by supporting local programs, treatment centers, and partnering with mental health professionals and law enforcement.
At Hills Recovery Center, we embrace the Four Dimensions of Recovery set forth by SAMSHA. These four dimensions are a personal journey that relies on four core areas:
Health: Overcoming physical and mental health challenges to make informed wellness choices.
Home: Having a safe and stable place to live.
Purpose: Engaging in meaningful daily activities, work, or school.
Community: Relying on the love and support of family, friends, and peers.
