Today, the Food Care Center was honored to receive a very generous donation from Sons of American Legion POST 573.

We are deeply grateful for their commitment to serving our community and supporting efforts to help individuals and families facing food insecurity. Partnerships like these allow us to continue making a difference in the lives of those we serve each day.

Juneteenth Holiday Closure Notice

In observance of Juneteenth, the Food Care Center will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

This closure will be reflected on our posted signage and shared on our website.

We will resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

Faithful Support Over the Years 💚

For more than two decades, First Baptist Church has faithfully supported the Food Care Center, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to our mission. Month after month, they continue to show up and help us restock our shelves as we work to stand in the gap created by hunger.

With so much uncertainty surrounding food insecurity in our community, partnerships like this mean more than words can express. We truly could not do this work without our volunteers, donors, and the unwavering support of local organizations and churches that continue to pour into the Food Care Center.

What a Blessing 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Westside Baptist Church for coming out to the Food Care Center and helping us restock our shelves. Your servant hearts and willingness to give back help make it possible for us to continue serving families across our community.

Today, the Food Care Center is now feeding nearly 4,000 families each month and that is nothing but God’s grace, faithful volunteers, generous donors, and a community that continues to show up for one another.

If you’d like to learn more about the Food Care Center, volunteer, or support our mission, we invite you to stop by and see the work being done firsthand. Together, we continue to stand in the gap created by hunger. 🙏🏽
