V.I.A. Mentorship Program and the M.O.S.S. Foundation were honored to attend an Appreciation Dinner recognizing volunteers of the Lions Club Park Senior Center. Our youth enjoyed a wonderful dinner and appreciated being recognized for the time and service they have dedicated to our senior community.

We are grateful for opportunities that allow our young people to serve, connect, and build meaningful relationships across generations. 💚

Upcoming: Reasons to Stay – Find Your Way Out 💜
V.I.A.'s annual Reasons to Stay – Find Your Way Out workshop returns September 12 with an interactive escape-room experience designed to make an important conversation approachable, engaging, and memorable.
Through the theme “Find Your Way Out,” mentees will work together through challenges centered on recognizing stress, healthy coping, asking for help, identifying trusted adults, and understanding that difficult moments do not last forever.
The message behind every challenge: There is always a reason to stay—and you don't have to find your way out alone. 💜💚

We hear people say, “I’m protecting my peace”—usually when they are distancing themselves from a person or situation.

But while evaluating the energy around us, how often do we examine the energy we are putting into the world?

This brief reflection from our Man in the Mirror: Reflections of Me workshop raised a conversation worth continuing:

Can protecting your peace sometimes become a way to avoid accountability or difficult conversations? And how do you make sure you are contributing the same kind of energy you want to receive?

See Yourself. Shape Your Future.

On August 29, V.I.A. will kick off our 2nd Annual See Yourself Workshop Series with the first two hands-on experiences.

The Mirror Within will help our mentees explore identity, core values, and how they see themselves through creative self-expression.

Define Your Future. Craft Your Path. will shift the focus to the future as mentees set SMART goals and create personal vision boards.

From “Who am I?” to “Where am I going?”—we’re helping our girls build confidence, purpose, and a vision for their future. 💚

We’re looking for schools, student groups, businesses, clubs, teams, churches, nonprofits, and community organizations to join us for Haunted Heights: Not-So-Scary Night!

⏰ 2:00–6:00 p.m.
📍 Community Park

Set up a booth, host a game or activity, hand out candy, share information about your organization, or come out and volunteer!

There is no cost to participate.
