V.I.A. Mentorship Program mentees had an amazing time celebrating the end of a successful school year at the End-of-Year Skate Party held at 254 Kascade!

Hosted by the Youth Leadership Institute (YLI), the event brought together youth from across the community for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and celebration. Our mentees enjoyed connecting with participants from:

The M.O.S.S. Foundation -Hope Mentorship Program

Theta Delta Sigma Alumni Chapter

V.I.A. Mentorship Program mentees, alongside The M.O.S.S. Foundation, proudly attended the City of Killeen Memorial Day Ceremony to honor and pay respects to our military community and the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

This meaningful experience allowed our mentees to reflect on the importance of service, sacrifice, and remembrance while standing in support of the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇺🇸

In celebration of Arbor Day, V.I.A. Mentorship Program, alongside the The MOSS Foundation, participated in a meaningful tree planting initiative.

Together, we took part in giving back to the environment—planting trees that will grow, provide shade, and serve as a lasting reminder of our commitment to the community. This experience reflects our dedication to Community Service & Engagement, showing our mentees the importance of sustainability, stewardship, and leaving a legacy that will impact generations to come. 🌳

On April 18, V.I.A. Mentorship Program, had the opportunity to visit Paul Quinn College for their HBCU Preview Day.

Our mentees were fully immersed in the college experience—exploring academic opportunities, touring the dorms, and gaining a firsthand look at campus life. One of the highlights of the visit was attending the dynamic Divine Nine step show, where culture, pride, and legacy took center stage.

Experiences like this are what fuel our commitment to Academic & Career Success—exposing our young ladies to real possibilities and helping them envision their future. Who knows… we may have a future Tiger in the making!

In preparation for Arbor Day, V.I.A. Mentorship Program hosted a park clean-up in Harker Heights to help restore and prepare the space for the community.

Our mentees took pride in giving back—removing litter, refreshing the environment, and setting the tone for a day that celebrates the importance of nature and sustainability. This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to Community Service & Engagement, proving that leadership begins with action.
