Killeen Heights Rotary The members of the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights have an obligation as good citizens to serve the community in which we live.

Working together, we believe we can have an enormously positive impact on the quality of life for many Central Texans who are in need or faced with unexpected misfortune. The Rotary Club of Killeen Heights annually undertakes a well-rounded program of activities in support of the Family of Rotary and within each of Rotary's Five Avenues of Service in order to Share Rotary in our club, our community, our vocations, and our world. We focus our resources - time, talents and finances - on reducing the mortality rate of children by supporting water, literacy, health and hunger programs; impacting fewer projects/agencies but with greater support to enable real change in these areas of need. Our membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. We are non-political, non-religious, non-governmental and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

Join us tomorrow, October 13 for our People of Action club meeting. Complementary appetizers, soft drinks and fellowship begin at 5:00 pm. That will be followed by our Guest Speaker, Mr. Carlos Calaf from Spherion; topic: how to mentor/interview our up-and-coming workforce. AND our service project will consist of assembling interview success kits.
See you tomorrow from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Bubba's 33 in Killeen. Bring a friend or two!

Help SHP deliver 16 beds to local children this Saturday, September 19!

We need:
• 2 teams for Harker Heights
• 2 teams for Temple

Teams will meet at Marine Outlet in Temple to load materials, and each team will have an experienced delivery leader.
