Our focus is on serving our local community through service projects, focusing on Literacy. is an international association of business executives and professionals (includes those that work from home) who volunteer their energies and expertise in projects dedicated to community betterment. As a community service organization, Altrusa espouses volunteerism and service, fights for literacy, assists

with disaster relief and helps combat disease. of Central Texas was organized January 28th 2008 with 20 charter members. The Central Texas Club is one of 33 Clubs across Texas that is part of the International organization, Altrusa International, Inc. The International organization was formed in April 1917 and as of November 2015, the total membership is at 8,331 with 363 clubs internationally.
