This September, Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas youth will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001 by planting a Remembrance Tree in honor of the lives lost and the heroes whose courage and service continue to inspire us.

In partnership with AmeriCorps and the 9/11 Day of Service initiative, our youth are leading this meaningful project by researching project costs, preparing the planting site, and planning a dedication ceremony. They will also deliver a commemorative speech at the ribbon-cutting, sharing the importance of remembrance, service, and coming together as a community.

This living memorial will stand as a lasting symbol of hope, resilience, and the power of service. By honoring the past, our youth are helping build a stronger future through compassion, leadership, and civic engagement.
Together, we remember. Together, we serve. Together, we grow. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

This morning, our Teens headed to Kohlโ€™s for a special back-to-school shopping trip for new clothes and school essentials to help them start the school year off! ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽ’

In observance of Independence Day, our Teen Center members helped decorate the center by proudly putting up flags and patriotic displays throughout the building.

This hands-on activity gave our teens the opportunity to work together, show their community spirit, and help create a festive environment for everyone to enjoy. We are proud of their teamwork, dedication, and enthusiasm as they helped prepare the center for the holiday celebration.

Thank you to all of our amazing teen members for making the center look great and helping us honor Independence Day! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™
