Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas recently celebrated our 2026 8th grade members as they prepare to transition into high school this fall. This special event brought together incoming high school members and their families for an exciting and informative introduction to the next chapter of their BGCTX journey.
Throughout the event, members & families had the opportunity to meet their future High School Club Directors, learn more about upcoming programs and opportunities, and gain valuable insight into the support and experiences available at the high school level. Members also participated in engaging activities, connected with peers, and enjoyed meaningful conversations that helped build excitement and confidence for the transition ahead.
The event was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit, and it was wonderful to see members and families actively engaged throughout the evening. We are incredibly grateful to Buffalo Wild Wings for generously donating food for the event and for providing such an outstanding team, led by Ms. Mindy, whose support and professionalism helped make the evening a success.
We are proud of our rising high school members and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow, lead, and thrive in the next stage of their BGCTX experience."
