DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH 💜
Today, we remember Erica.
Today, we stand with survivors.
Today, we speak up.
As we begin Domestic Violence Awareness Month, The Erica White Foundation honors the life and memory of Erica and all those whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence.
Erica’s name continues to live on through the work of this foundation , through service, compassion, community support, and our commitment to helping others.
Domestic violence is more than physical abuse. It can include emotional, verbal, sexual, financial, digital, and other forms of controlling behavior. And sometimes, the person who needs help may be someone we know, love, work with, or see every day.
💜 If you are a survivor, we see you.
💜 If you are currently experiencing abuse, you are not alone.
💜 If you are supporting someone you love, your compassion matters.
💜 If you have lost someone, their story and their life matter.
This October, let’s create space for conversations, believe survivors, learn the warning signs, and remind those around us that help is available and they do not have to face it alone.
The Erica White Foundation will continue to honor Erica by serving others, supporting families, and being a source of hope in our community. 💜
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence and needs support, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233), text START to 88788, or visit The Hotline online. (The Hotline)
This month and always: With Survivors, Always. 💜
