We met so many amazing people over the last few days! Friends from Italy, India, England, Tanzania, Argentina, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, and also friends closer to home like Boston, California, Washington and Chicago. Networking is useful but the friendships made here is more valuable than anything 🖤

Rotaract at CTC is getting started! From volunteering with our satellite at the Food Care Center to making lunches and hygiene packages with Big Rotary and Families in Crisis. We care about our community and want to take care of people any way we can. Will it be beneficial to all involved?

Saturday was a big day for Rotaract!
We started the morning with Aware Central Texas, manning a booth for stick horse races. Then we went to CTC for the Epically Hogwarts Holiday event. In the Common Room, we had butterbeer! Aragog’s children hid for students to find, craft tables were set up to make Christmas ornaments, the Yule ball raged and Wizard’s Chess was played outside. The Planetarium gave an amazing historical insight into the constellations J.K. Rowling got inspiration from. We had a lot of fun 🖤

Rotaract meeting in half an hour! We will be talking about upcoming projects, such as the bunk bed build, food for families, and hopefully starting our own campus project. We’ll also start planning Epically Hogwarts and ordering our T-Shirts. See you soon!
