In 2024, Sarah and Staley’s world was turned upside down when they were told 2-year-old Staley, had a mass spotted in his bladder and that it was likely cancerous. That evening they were flown to Mayo Clinic in Rochester to begin the diagnostic process of confirming Staley's tumor, Rhabdomyosarcoma. To date, Staley has had multiple ultrasounds, x-rays, a PET scan, tumor biopsy, many lab draws, surgery for port placement and a bone marrow biopsy and 42 weeks of treatment (chemo and radiation) requiring many trips and long stays in Rochester.
Staley and his family were able to return to Bismarck in between treatments, but there were and continues to be many miles of traveling and time missed at work by Sydney for Staley's treatments and checkups. This is a family who needs financial help. He is doing well at the moment, but their fight is far from over. Prayers for clean scans are needed!

Presenting the check is long-time Houghton family friends Jody Pfliger and Bryan Flath.

Around her 1st birthday, Addie had a kidney biopsy and was diagnosed with congenital nephrotic syndrome, a condition that causes kidney scarring and loss of essential proteins. Two weeks later, she spiked a fever and was Life Flighted to Children's Hospital of Colorado with bacterial meningitis.
She spent 26 days in the hospital in Colorado.
Today, Addie continues to require overnight G-tube feeds, biweekly immune-system infusions, & weekly albumin + Lasix infusions.

Addie now is at the point of needing a kidney transplant. Prior to transplant, Addie will undergo 6-8 weeks of dialysis to help her body stop fighting and compensating for her nephrotic syndrome.
After transplant it's expected that she will need to remain in Denver for 3-4 months to recover.

Giving the check is Garrett’s Sister-In-Law, Alyssa, and Garrett’s two daughters, Harper and Stella.

Bo, who is from Bowman and in the 6th grade and the oldest of their 3 sons, was admitted into the Denver hospital battling autoimmune encephalitis or ADEM. They're not exactly sure yet, but it's some type of brain injury, and he'll require lots and lots of therapies for a long time. His mom, Erin, just finished her yearlong battle with breast cancer doing chemo, radiation, and maintenance infusions. All was well after her treatments for about 2 weeks, when Bo fell ill.
They've had a long medical battle the last year and now have an even longer one ahead to help Bo rehabilitate.

Bo is a fighter and continues to be one.

Presenting the check is family friend of the Houghtons, Sarah Kupper, and cousin of the Houghton Family, Jordan Pelton and his wife, Tessa.

All given back to those in need.
