Salty Dog Sitting

Hello Outer Banks-ers! I hope your summer has been going wonderfully. ☀️ Mine has had an unexpected twist that has made petsitting opportunities a bit more challenging, and I wanted to fill you all in!

Over a month ago my boss and I noticed this little gray furball under a bush in our work parking lot alone. Of course I ran over and laid down on the ground and beckoned to her .... Not expecting her to promptly scamper over toward me! But that she did.
My brother's super smart girlfriend Marley works at a wildlife rescue center, and walked me through all the things I needed to keep kitty going strong until I could get her to the SPCA (haaa). I decided to keep fostering her til she wasn't drinking milk out of a bottle.

The past month or so has been a whirlwind of amazing and not so amazing life happenings. One of the more positive occurrences is ..I moved!
I've been trying to learn how to use a drill (featured ..... Had to call my brother in the middle of this because the screw wasn't going in... That is when I found out the drill can go in reverse! 😅) and many other *adult* attributes.
Additionally, I have an amazing, precious new nephew on the beach! Due to these awesome blessings along with some other big life changes... My mind has slightly been on overload!
I sincerely apologize for any delays in my responses to any requests I have had over the past month.

I'll be dogsitting / going out of town for the next month straight... And then will be back home to continue settling into my new beach bungalow.
I am going to **temporarily** close my client list for the time being. As much as I absolutely love meeting new pets and their families, and absolutely dislike saying no, I need to slow down a bit and smell the roses. (Literally.. I have two rose bushes outside my new house! Thanks awesome landlords (: )
If i have not sat for you and you need a sitter, I would love to ask Kristen for you, or make a recommendation!

If I have been lucky to have watched your animals in the past, PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out to me to continue caring for them while you're away 😊 My intention is too keep petsitting, but i am at capacity! And am so blessed to have had the opportunity to to get to capacity.. and don't take that for granted!
