Please join Goudarzi & Young this 𝗧𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬, September 3 , for another Silver Screen Movie Club movie, at AMC Longview 10! This month we will be watching " TONY ". Doors open at 8:15 a.m., with the first showing beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the final showing starting at 9:30 a.m.
Admission is free for individuals aged 55 and older with the donation of two or more canned goods. All contributions will go to support our local food pantry.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Movies will begin shortly after each theater is filled. Showings run from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., but availability is limited.

We had a great meeting and luncheon this past Wednesday at Meadowbrook Golf Event Center. Bingo was sponsored by Arbor Grace and lunch was provided by Edgars Big Taco. After the m several people stayed to play Rummikub and Cards and Marbles. Approximately 42 people were in attendance.

Update: Memorial service for Linda Alley will be September 6th at 3:00 pm at the First Church of the Nazarene at 309 E Sabine st , Kilgore.

The Kilgore Senior Citizens Club wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of our member sweet Linda Alley who passed away at Arabella of Kilgore yesterday. At this time arrangements are pending.

Our next meeting will be Wednesday August 26 at the Meadowbrook Golf Event Center at 11:15 am. We will have Bingo sponsored by Arbor Grace Guest Care Center. Our lunch will tacos, rice and beans from Edgar’s Big Tacos. Members may bring side dishes and desserts. Ice tea and water will be available. Lunch is $8. Please make plans to attend. We hope to see you there and feel free to bring a game that you enjoy playing for after lunch.

Our next meeting will be Aug 12th at Meadowbrook event and golf center at 11:15.

Lunch - Chicken spaghetti, green beans and salad.

Entertainment- Kevin Zervakos will be our speaker for our August meeting. His topic will be Medicare Services with questions and answers about senior healthcare services.

Sharon Westbrook will be starting a Bible study Thursday Sept 10th at 4:00 pm at Whataburger. We will have more info at meeting on the 12th for everyone interested.

We had approximately 45 members in attendance at our annual Luau luncheon today at Meadowbrook Golf Event Center. Entertainment was Iwan Beavington sponsored by Shuntavia Deckard of Colonial Village in Longview. Our menu included Polynesian chicken, sweet potatoes, Hawaiian coleslaw, Okra with black eyed peas and tomatoes and Hawaiian rolls and deviled eggs. Ice tea was made by Reo Calendar. Many desserts were available. Thank you to everyone who helped with decorating and cleanup afterwards. Several members stayed afterwards and played Rummikub and Cards and Marbles game.

Our next meeting will be July 8th at Meadowbrook event and golf center at 11:15.

This will be our Hawaiian Luau meeting.
Iwan Beavington will be there to entertain us with Hawaiian/beach music. Bring your grass skirt if you have one. Always a fun time.

Lunch - Lunch is still in the works. Grilled chicken with Polynesian sauce, Hawaiian coleslaw, rolls and fruit tray (subject to change but hope not) You are welcome to bring a dish of your choice (side dish or desserts)
