Kilgore Senior Citizens Group

Kilgore Senior Citizens Group Anyone over 55 is welcome.

We meet 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month at 11:15 am for a short business meeting, luncheon and activity at Meadowbrook Golf & Event Center there is a $10 annual membership fee and a nominal cost for a catered luncheon.

Our next meeting will be May 27 at @ Lions Club , 307 N Rusk St, Kilgore at 11:15.

This will be our Memorial Day celebration.

Entertainment will be bingo.

Lunch will be beef stroganoff, squash casserole, coleslaw, salad and other desserts and side dishes.
Feel free to bring a dessert or side dish of your choice .

If you can please bring a canned good for Helping Hands

Had a great Mother’s Day meeting today. Ginger Anglin won for Queen for the day!
She received flowers, gift certificate, and a gift basket. Very deserving of this honor.

Our next meeting will be May 13th at Meadowbrook event and golf center at 11:15.

This will be our Mothers Day celebration!

We will have a drawing and give out a few prizes to the mothers attending. We will have a table set up for Mothers Day items. Bring a picture of your mother, cards, etc or anything to do with Mother’s Day.

Our Speaker will be Tamiko Wilcox from the Willows to speak about nursing homes and skilled nursing care.

She will be providing us with a lunch of pizza , drinks and cookies. We will also have salad and fixings.

Sad news today. Sue Clements passed away this morning. She was a longtime member of the club and we will miss her.
Prayers for her family. 🙏❤️

Had a great time today at Arbor Grace for bingo and brunch. 20 members of Kilgore Senior citizens attended. Great snacks, door prizes and gifts for bingo winners. Thanks to Arbor Grace for hosting us.

First meeting of 2026 will be Wednesday January 14th at 11:15 am at Meadowbrook golf and event center.
Entertainment: Sean from Louis Morgan Drug Store will talk about medication safety for seniors.
Lunch will be tamales (pork and chicken), chicken enchiladas, pinto beans, Spanish rice and other side dishes. Members are welcome to bring side dish or dessert.
Yearly dues are $10. Pay before March.
If you are able please bring a canned good, etc for Helping Hands.
