Thank you to all board members for all clubs on your amazing service over the last year. And congratulations to new incoming boards. All Rotary clubs are preparing to install their new board and begin their new roles July 1. Every ending IS truly a new beginning. You've got this! πŸ‘πŸ˜

Every ending is a beginning of something new.

What closes one chapter opens another. Embrace change, trust the journey, and look forward to the opportunities ahead.

There is much to celebrate this time of year in Rotary! All of the accomplishments of the past year and the excitement around planning for the upcoming year.

Thank you to all of the Hawaii Rotary club boards and we look forward to continuing to celebrate all of your (and our) accomplishments over the 2026-2027 year! πŸ‘πŸ˜

As we approach the beginning of a new Rotary year next month, our club looks forward to the traditional changing of leadershipβ€”a time to celebrate accomplishments, express gratitude, and welcome new opportunities for service.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our outgoing president and board members for their dedication, vision, and countless hours of service. Their leadership has helped strengthen our club and expand our impact in the community.

At the same time, we are excited to welcome our incoming leadership team. With fresh ideas and continued commitment to Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, we look forward to another year of fellowship, meaningful projects, and positive change.

Please join us in thanking our outgoing leaders and supporting those who will guide our club into the new Rotary year. Together, we will continue making a difference in our community and around the world.

ROTARY RESCUE TUBES HELPED TO SAVE A FAMILY AT KEAWAKAPU BEACH πŸ›ŸπŸ’›

Huge Mahalo to Maui Visitor, Angela Hirsh, for your quick thinking in utilizing the Rescue Tubes on Keawakapu Beach on Friday, June 5, to help bring a family in distress to shore!

That was a brave and wise way to help a family without endangering yourself in the process. You used the Rescue Tubes just as they were designed to be used -- tossing it out and staying on shore. Thank you so much for the incredible fast action you took to rescue that family and bring a happy ending to their experience ... and yours! πŸ›ŸWell done!

We appreciate you letting us know that the tools we provided on the South Maui beaches are right where they need to be!
As the stewards and installers of the Rescue Tubes, we don't often hear about how the tubes were used but we can tell they have been. They are an incredibly valuable program here on the islands.

We're so happy you're all safe! πŸ’—

πŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›ŸπŸ›Ÿ

FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T USED RESCUE TUBES YET, HERE'S HOW
1. Release the yellow tube from the Velcro pole straps
2. Toss the yellow tube out to the distressed person and stay on shore
3. Tow them in by pulling the leash that's attached to the tube
4. Then call 911 (or someone else calls while you're towing) and provide the Rescue Tube pole number for your exact location.

If they're too far out to tow them in from shore:
1. Release the Rescue Tube from the pole.
2. Toss it out to the person and stay on shore. The Rescue Tube will help them stay afloat until emergency crews arrive.
3. Call 911 and provide the Rescue Tube pole number for your exact location.

Stay safe, friends!
