Aloha Kihei AYSO 'ohana! We've been unsuccessful at finding volunteers to replace the outgoing board. At this time, there is no established league for the fall.

The league needs at minimum 5 volunteer board members to run and to share the load of responsibilities. You will have the support and guidance from past board members so you won't be alone.

Aside from board members we need at least 10 volunteer coaches, 5 volunteer referees, and team parents for each team.

Please send a DM ASAP. There is still a chance we can secure fields and get our kids out there.

We are pleased to announce we will be having referee training at the end of August.
This training will be supplementary to the online modules you will be required to complete prior to the start of the season.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in getting trained and certified. For those already trained, it is a great opportunity to refresh and get current.

Happy from Kihei AYSO!
We know everyone is getting anxious to hear about practices and start times for the season. We are working hard to get volunteers credentialed and practice schedules from our volunteer coaches.

In the meantime, please be sure to have your athletes equipped with shin guards and cleats. Athlete MUST have shin guards in order to participate in practices and matches,
Locally you can find gear at Target, the Adidas outlet store, Ross, and TJ Maxx. If you know of any other places, please post in the comments.

If youʻre interested in volunteering, we are still searching for coaches in our 8U and 6U divisions. Register at www.ayso895.org to start your training and certification process.

Heard an amazing thing from a volunteer at a week long tournament that just wrapped. We thanked him for volunteering his time to referee and coach at the tournament that hosted over 4,000 athletes. His reply, "we do it for the kids and the future generations of the community." I felt that!

Please consider sharing your time to coach and mentor the keiki of our community. No experience necessary, training is available. Sign up early to complete training and take part in training we have over before the season starts.

The very heartbeat of the activities your keiki enjoy so much are the volunteers that make it happen. Lots of opportunities to contribute are available - a little something for everyone.

*Please be aware, teams will NOT be formed until volunteers register as coaches and pass their background checks. The season may or may not start on time depending on participation.
