The Fist Bump Family an informal collective of volunteers actively seeking opportunities to give back and uplift our communities.

Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic by Todd and Kristin Vines, with the goal of instilling a sense of service in their sons, the organization is supported by a diverse range of friends, family, colleagues and community members. Fist Bump Family Projects was proud to get our hands dirty and support Maui Green & Beautiful and Retree Hawaii's loulu palm planting at Haycraft Park.

In partnership with Keiki Soccer Pros, Fist Bump Family Projects will host a soccer boot drive on Thursday, October 28 at Haggai International Institute in Kihei from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

As always, our goal is to collect gently used cleats, clean them up, and redistribute them back into the community at no cost.

• If you have boots that your athletes have outgrown, or no longer need, please consider bringing them to donate. Look for the green bin with the words “Donate boots here!”

• If you are a family in need of soccer cleats, please talk with the team on site, or reach out to via social media so they can help.

On , acquiring soccer cleats can be a unique challenge for some families, both because of a lack of sporting goods stores, and because of the expense of mail order and shipping.

This is a youth-led service project being coordinated by community members who are passionate about soccer and giving back, and we’re proud to support Reboot Soccer's mission of helping “more kids play soccer while creating opportunities to practice generosity, empathy, and leadership.”

Fist Bump Family Projects is pleased to announce its partnership with Reboot Soccer.

Beginning immediately, Fist Bump volunteers are accepting donations of gently used cleats for the purpose of redistributing them back into our local community to families in need.

We believe the lessons learned through participation in youth athletics position us for success in our lives as adults, and a simple lack of soccer cleats (boots) should never be the barrier that keeps kids from participating.

Here on , acquiring soccer cleats can be a unique challenge for some families, both because of a lack of sporting goods stores, and because of the expense of mail order and shipping.

Our goal is to revitalize boot donations and redistribute them back into the community at no cost.

We’re proud to support Reboot Soccer's mission of helping “more kids play soccer while creating opportunities to practice generosity, empathy, and leadership.”
