We are still taking volunteers for this Friday's litter sweep!

Help protect the newly preserved Betsy Kerrison Nature Area by keeping this natural area clean, safe, and beautiful for both wildlife and the community.

This special litter sweep is a great opportunity to get outside, connect with others, and directly support local conservation.

Volunteer as a docent at the Southern Living’s 2024 Idea House at Kiawah River to support Communities In Schools of South Carolina! CISSC was chosen by the Beach Company as one of three charities to benefit from the Idea House tours. Located in the Kiawah River development, tours of the home are being offered every Thursday through Sunday, now through Dec. 22. Sign up for a morning or afternoon volunteer shift and help answer questions and greet guests. Volunteering is a great way to support CISSC, who provide assistance at Mt. Supporting Our Island Neighbors Since 2011

Formed in 2011, the outreach began as a way to facilitate volunteerism among the many members who desired to give their time and skills. As the program grew, a foundation formed, combining the resources of our generous members in support of their neighbors. Today, both the Kiawah Cares outreach and the Kiawah Cares Foundation work with partner organizations in neighboring communities to touch more lives than ever.
