You should have received your Chariton County Youth Fair Book from your 4-H Leaders or FFA Advisors but if not we have some available at the Extension Office or https://bit.ly/2026CharitonFairbook . Fair Entry is up and going, we did have a couple of glitches this morning but have been worked out. If you do come across any others or have problems, please reach out to the Office at 660-288-3239. Keep in mind if you click submit until the office staff are able to approve that invoice you are frozen from Fair Entry.

The CHARITON COUNTY YOUTH FAIR is right around the corner and guess what? FairEntry registration opens MONDAY, JUNE 1ST!!! We would like every to register this way as it makes the fair run so much smoother and on time. In order to get your youth their fair shirt registrations need to be entered by June 29th. Please check you 2026 Fair Book for fair schedules and rules, we have some changes this year. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach our to Jeri Marek or Carie Johnson at the office, 660-676-2029.

We are looking for a certified lifeguard for 4-H Camp on June 2–4 and June 9–11. Camp is located at K**b Noster State Park. Pay is $15 per hour, with approximately 13 hours total during each 3-day camp session. Some meals and snacks will be provided.

Interested applicants should contact the local Extension office. A valid lifeguard certification is required.
