Since the first graduating class of 1905, Potomac State College has sought to use education as a tool to develop difference makers. President Church, Dean McKee, “Horse” Lough, Dr. Atwater, “Ikey” Dayton, Ken Haines, Gary Seldomridge, Henry Falkowski and countless others have all dedicated much of their lives t

o positively impact students and equip them with all the necessary tools to become successful alumni of Potomac State College. This rich tradition grows stronger every year as another class of students leave this beautiful campus.

Well deserved recognition for our Director of Development. Congratulations Dr. Webb! WVU Potomac State College

Dr. Megan J. Webb, a sixth-generation agriculturalist from Mineral County, was recently honored during National Women in Agriculture Day by West Virginia Senator and former Governor Jim Justice, recognizing the vital contributions of women in agriculture. Dr. Webb serves as the Director of Development at WVU Potomac State College.

It's Finals Week for our students!

The library is open until 9 PM tonight to accommodate our students, and while they're here, we've started the final whiteboard poll of the semester asking what everyone is looking forward to this summer. Sleeping seems to be a pretty popular activity so far.

We love seeing our alumni and students come together in meaningful collaboration and service—supporting one another while making a true impact in our community.

The Potomac State Rotaract put in some serious work Tuesday night—coming together to pack food bags for the Food for Thought program!

Led by Potomac State alumna Dinah Courrier, this incredible program provides snacks and easy-to-make meals to students in eight Mineral County schools who might otherwise go without. In just one evening, our club packed over 400 “ready-to-go” bags that will be delivered to local schools this week.

Making a real impact, building connections, and giving back to the community—this is what Rotaract is all about. We’re so grateful to be part of something that truly makes a difference.
