The Mineral County FFA Alumni & Supporters has been nominated in the Non-Profit Group/Organization category for the Best of In & Around Mineral County Awards!

Since being chartered in 2023, we have worked to support local FFA members through scholarships, SAE grants, student leadership opportunities, educational programs, and activities that strengthen agricultural education throughout Mineral County.

Important reminder from the Mineral County Extension Service regarding breeding animals at the Mineral County Livestock Show.

If you are planning on exhibiting a breeding animal in the 2026 Mineral Co. Livestock Show your animal(s) must be checked in on Sunday, June 14th or Monday, June 15th. No breeding animals can enter the day of the show. Only breeding animals who have registered are allowed to be entered and exhibited. 🐑🐐🍀

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation. Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who gave their lives defending our freedoms.

As we gather with family and friends, may we take time to remember the true meaning of this day and honor those who never made it home.

Today is a special day for the graduating seniors of Mineral County FFA.

As you walk across the stage today at Frankfort High School or Keyser High School, or as you walked across the stage Friday night graduating from Mineral County Technical Center, know that your FFA family is proud of each and every one of you.

You have spent years learning, growing, working hard, developing career and leadership skills, building friendships, and preparing for whatever comes next. Whether your future leads you to college, technical training, military service, agriculture careers, the workforce, or a path still unfolding, take pride in how far you have come.

Remember the lessons learned through FFA, leadership, hard work, responsibility, service, and dedication. Those lessons will stay with you long after graduation day.

As you begin your next chapter, remember where you came from. Stay connected, get involved, and give back. Mineral County FFA will always be here, and we hope to see you involved as alumni in the years ahead.

Congratulations Mineral County FFA Seniors, Class of 2026. We cannot wait to see where life takes you next. 🎓

That’s a Wrap on the 2026 Greenhouse Season! 🌿

Another greenhouse season has come to a close, and thanks to this incredible community, we had another successful year. 💚

We extend a huge thank you to every individual, business, and organization that supported us by purchasing plants this season. Your support directly helps our horticulture program continue to thrive and provides students with valuable hands-on learning opportunities that build skills and real-world experiences.

To our students—thank you for the hard work, dedication, and countless hours spent planting, watering, transplanting, and caring for everything that made this season possible.

To our community—thank you for choosing to support agricultural education and investing in our students.

We appreciate every purchase, every share, and every word of encouragement throughout the season.
