🦌🎣 Logan Rohrbaugh Hunting & Fishing Award – Now Accepting Applications! 🎣🦌

The Logan Tyler Rohrbaugh Memorial Foundation is proud to once again offer the Logan Rohrbaugh Hunting and Fishing Award for 2026.

This award will provide one Mineral County, WV graduating senior (Keyser or Frankfort High School) with a West Virginia Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License, honoring Logan’s deep love for the outdoors and his passion for WV hunting heritage.

Logan lived life to the fullest. He loved being outside hunting, fishing, kayaking, snowboarding, golfing, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. He had a way of bringing people together, lighting up every room with his smile. Through this award, we continue his legacy by encouraging the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts to carry that passion forward.

Eligibility Requirements:
✔ Demonstrate commitment and dedication to WV hunting and fishing
✔ U.S. Citizen
✔ Resident of Mineral County, WV
✔ Graduating Senior at Keyser or Frankfort High School

Application must include:
• Name, address, phone number, and email
• Short autobiography & what receiving this award would mean to you
• Photos (optional)
• Applicants may use the foundation form, but it is not required.

📅 Applications are due by April 24, 2026

Rowing for Rohrbaugh – Thank You! 🚣‍♂️☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for the 3rd Annual Rowing for Rohrbaugh Memorial Float! It was a hot one, but the river was perfect, and the turnout was amazing. It meant so much to see everyone, share stories, and keep Logan’s memory alive in such a meaningful way.

We were honored to have both Lucas Davy, our second recipient, and Clayton Faulk, our first recipient of the Logan Rohrbaugh Hunting and Fishing Award, join us for the float this year. It was a day full of fun, laughter, and maybe a little sunburn too!

Your support and donations make it possible for us to continue awarding a WV Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License to a deserving high school senior each year. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

A special thanks to our family, friends, and everyone who helped make the day extra special.

🚣‍♂️ Rowing for Rohrbaugh is TOMORROW! 🌞
We’re all set for a beautiful, sunny day on the river! The water level on the South Branch of the Potomac looks amazing — please note this is not the North Branch, where recent contamination has been reported.
🕛 Launch is at 12:00 PM from Stoney Run
🚐 Shuttle service will be available for drivers returning from Wapacoma — last shuttle leaves at 11:45 AM
🅿️ Parking will be in the same spot as last year — just follow the signs!
🚗 Reminder: Please drive slow at Wapacoma (10 MPH speed limit) 💧 Be sure to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during the float!
🍖 Savage BBQ will be set up from 12 PM – 7 PM
🎶 Live music by Butterscotch Blonde from 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Let’s honor Logan with an unforgettable day on the river, surrounded by friends, family, and community. 🩵💚
