Good morning!

Happy Ash Wednesday to those that celebrate. Due to the current costs of ingredients, we are unable to hold the Ash Wednesday Fish Fry this year. Our priorities are to provide an excellent dinner at an affordable price point, which was not possible. We are considering this a pause and hope to be back with our legendary Fish Fry in 2027!

We had the joy of coming together to assemble snack bags for local kids spending their summer at home in Keyport. 💙☀️

Each bag is filled with water, juice, cereal, granola bars, candy, and fruit snacks — just a little something to bring smiles and nourishment during the break.

It’s amazing what a small act of service can do when done with big hearts. Grateful for our dedicated team and the opportunity to support our community’s kids. 💛🍎

🌸 Service in Bloom at Collier House 🌿

Last week, our team spent a meaningful afternoon at Collier House—a transitional living program for young adults (ages 18–21) located in Keyport, NJ. We rolled up our sleeves and helped beautify the front of the facility with fresh landscaping and vibrant flowers. Our goal was to create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home for the young residents.

This project is a small but heartfelt part of our larger mission to support youth experiencing homelessness in New Jersey. Every effort counts, and every flower planted is a symbol of hope and renewal.

The KHS Key Club, in conjunction with New York/New Jersey Blood Center, will be hosting our first ever Blood Drive! This is a major service project that the Key Club is hoping to turn into an annual event. There are so many people who could use your help! Appointments are available by scanning the QR code, but walk-ins are welcome! All those who donate will be placed into a raffle for a variety of gift cards and all seniors who donate, or have a family member who donates on their behalf, will receive a red cord to wear at graduation!
