This could be you!!! Registration for the 14th Annual VFW Fishing Tournament will end Friday, June 19th at 7:00 PM!!! 🎣 To enter the tournament, you may register on line at (www.vfw3911.org) or download and print the registration form. Drop off the form at the American Legion, 5610 College Rd, Key West. The final opportunity to register will take place at the American Legion Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Complementary food and adult beverages will be provided, and you can participate in the calcutta(s) at this time. Please note all calctta payments are to be made in cash.

There is over $50,000 in cash and prizes for our anglers. We look forward to seeing you on Fiday night

The 14th Annual VFW Fishing Tournament is this weekend!
June 19th - June 21st, 2026

You may register on line (www.vfwpost3911.org) or at the Captains meeting Friday at the American Legion. (Up stairs @ 5610 College Rd, Key West, FL 33040) Late registration opens at 5:00p.m Captains meeting starts at 7:00p.m. There is no other tournament in the Florida Keys that has as many different species, as many different angler categories, and as many guaranteed cash prizes as our tournament. Factor in the Calcuttas and there is about $50,000 in prize money that is on the table. This is one tournament that you do not want to miss !

Reminder to check your email for notes from last meeting and link to do a survey on the future of the post. Reminder on the meeting this Wed at the American Legion (or join online). Still time to sign up for the fishing tournament and we can use some donations/ sponsors to help the relief fund. Please do the survey by this weekend and join the team working on the future of the post -- contact Mark Tobin or Jim Wende if you want to be part of what is next.

14th Annual VFW Fishing Tournament is June 19th - June 21st, 2026 in Key West Florida.

We have five different species of fish and seven angler categories. There are nineteen guaranteed cash prizes, highlighted by a $15,000.00 prize for the heaviest Dolphin. We hope to see at our event!

Thank you and for the amazing food after the meeting and of course Patti behind the bar helping with refreshments at the American Legion on Stock Island after our meeting. Keep an eye out for a survey coming from the "Way Ahead" committee on shapping our post into the future. Next meeting is June 10th and your participation and input will help enable this.

Reminder on post meeting this Wed at 1830 hours at the Legion on Stock Island upstairs (enter thru bar elevator). Food and drink after for those who attended the meeting -- those on zoom are welcome too. Check your email for monthly notes from last meeting. Fishing tournament coming up and we need sponsors donations and boats to sign up for the fundraiser for the relief fund which enables so much in this community.
