If you know people looking for work – the Reserve at 510 Southard Street is opening soon. Veteran owned kitchen and hiring fare this Friday and Saturday starting at 10am. They are actually going to host a Guiness Book of World Records event in early 2027 with proceeds to the Relief Fund. We recently helped one of our Vietnam Veteran brothers in need, with an electric trike to help him get around Key West since he is not very mobile. In addition, we have helped him get on the right track to get VA disability help after his 20 years of service. We found his need from the Key West Locals page and want everyone to know we are still here and that our mission has not changed. We are here for Veterans both active, have ETS status and retired. We are extremely proud that we helped our brother in need!

The VFW is humbly thankful for businesses like Fausto’s, Rick’s and Publix that have supported us for so many years in fundraising for the veterans of Monroe county and during our buddy poppy drives. In addition, we are grateful the numerous others that have donated to us for our fishing tournaments. We love our Key West community, and are proud to support those that have served and are still serving our mighty military forces.
